Overview
The Artificial Intelligence Institute (YZE) of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, the informatics and information security centre of Turkey's national research council, was officially established in November 2020.
It was the first TÜBİTAK institute organised around an emerging technology rather than a sector. It develops core AI technologies and moves them into industry quickly through an open-innovation and co-development model, with co-development labs and competence centres.
